Description
Pesznecker Brothers owns and operates two CNC controlled abrasive waterjet cutting machines.
The small unit is a Calypso with 60,000 PSI of cutting power.
The cutting table is 60" x 120".
This machine can cut up to 5-1/2" thick.
Our larger unit is a state of the art Flow Waterjet with Dynamic Kerf/Head adjustment and 87,000 PSI cutting power.
The cutting table measures 72" x 144". This machine can cut virtually any kind of material up to 8" thick with almost no edge taper due to the Dynamic Kerf software. This machine is also programmed with automatic "nesting" software for efficient use of materials.
"The first half shows ¼" thick aerospace quality titanium being cut."
"The sparks are not heat, but friction of the cutting abrasive (garnet) hitting the titanium."
"The last half shows ¾" thick aluminum plate. Notice no sparks are being created."
No heat is created on the parts when using the waterjet.
