For many years we have offered agricultural services to our clients that have orchards and large vegetable gardens. We come from agricultural families on both our maternal and paternal side. I guess you can say "we have agriculture in our blood."
We now want you to know that we provide vineyard design, installation and maintenance services.

Our Vineyard Management Experience
It started in 2005, when we began work on a maintenance project in Santa Ynez that featured over 100 acres of wine grapes. When we began work on this project, it was solely as a landscape maintenance project, caring for their many acres of roses, lawn and vegetables. However, after we participated in our first grape harvest we were hooked.
Since 2005, our President Bruce Koehler has spent two eight-hour days at this vineyard every week and also learning the craft of winemaking literally from the ground up.
In 2007, Bruce began studies at Washington State University's Viticulture program. This program boasts some of the most cutting edge research and some of the sharpest minds in the field. They are committed to advancing the science of viticulture and viniculture, developing cures for diseases and expanding the discipline's knowledge of insects and the vine.
In 2009, Bruce's twin brother Mark returned to Down to Earth Landscapes, Inc. and we gained another asset as he also has vineyard field experience from the years he was working at resorts in Carmel Valley and Pacific Grove.
