API Outsourcing works with our utility customers to address some of their pressing energy challenges. Everyone recognizes the need to reduce energy costs and to develop sustainability services for our organizations. To this end, API is unique in that it has the ability to work with "utility bills" on two fronts. First, API works with businesses to audit and pay their utility bills - by providing data capture, processing, auditing, payment and reporting services. These specialized invoices require utility bill experts, a streamlined best practice process, and a best-of-breed platform. This is to ensure that bills are paid in a timely fashion to avoid late fees and that critical usage information is captured to better manage energy consumption. Second, API works with utilities to present their utility bills to consumer and commercial customers, in both the traditional print and mail style and the new electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) approach. API will continue to innovate in the utility and energy segment, bringing new ideas and services to the payment and presentment of utility bills.
