TSB/USB Series Thermoset Strip Builders

The TSB/USB�machinesare the workhorses of our Thermoset Strip Builderline and are used by companies building medium to large size rollers. The USB 500 is the largest of our USB Series and is most often used by companies building rollers for the steel and paper industries.�Most machines consist of a rubber extruder and operator-friendly applicator system mounted on a traveling platform that moves along the length of the spinning roller.�

The TSB model designation refers to an improved feature set developed originally for our�thermoplastic strip builders, and later applied to our rubber (thermoset) extruders.� This feature allows the operator to move the entire extruder/applicator perpendicular to the roller in order to accommodate a wide range of roller diameters.� It is also easy to adjust for different roller heights (centerlines) making the TSB more universal for all configurations.

�The TSB 130 is the exception and �is equipped with a stationary extruder and a traversing�spin station.� Some extruders can also�be equipped to apply rubber on the ends (Z-axis) as well as the face (X-axis) of the roller.
