Tri-Lobe PD Blower

We emphasize our "SHARKS- quiet and powerful" Tri-Lobe PD blower in terms of its noise level and efficiency. Because of our tri-lobe design, customers enjoy lower noise level and higher efficiency. We expect a noise level of 2-5 dBA less compared to other 2-lobe blowers. This is 60-200% less noise since the dBA is a log*10 measurement. Noise abatement acoustic housing are also available should the local conditions warrant. Please note the projected RPM for the specific flow and pressure. This optimum lower speed will insure longer bearing life and less wear on all moving parts.

Additionally, the oil bath lubrication on both ends of the PES type blower also adds to better lubrication and longer bearing life. The mounting of our SHARKS-Quiet & Powerful blowers is flexible to fit design conditions.

The most popular PEI blower model PES uses a unique housing, which contains a 90-degree-turn volute. This permits the blower base to mount directly to the concrete slab without requiring an elevated steel frame to accommodate a discharge silencer. If the footprint length, alternatively, is a limiting factor, PEI can furnish a shorter blower package using an 180-degree (inlet/discharge) housing (PEL model) with a raised support.
