Purpose and scope

The development is designed to collect and consolidate data on water resources and water management facilities of the river basin or other region (country, region, district) on the basis of a single information model. Also the decision support systems (DSS) creation on this basis for integrated management of the river basin/region water resources

Essence of the development

The technology allows the maximum integration and harmonization of various data on water resources and water management facilities. A high level of interoperability and automation of data processing is maintained, models, methods, algorithms and standard software at the level of the world's best samples are developed.

Local automated jobs can be installed on any number of computers without the additional keys purchase, without violating the law (to create them using a special GIS technology). Web systems use free software. There is an opportunity to import from most of the industry's departmental systems and export to known data formats. The system requires MS Windows operating system and MS Excel program

Received 30 certificates of copyright registration for individual software modules and systems

Market demand

The creation and implementation of such systems are dictated by the EU Water framework Directive, which all EU countries and countries that have signed the Association Agreement with the EU. Therefore, the technology can be used by any country

The development readiness status

The technology has already been tested for funding projects of the United Nations (UNEP, UNDP), the European Commission, OSCE, GEF, SIDA, including the EU and Ukraine. Some DSS are implemented in the Republic of Moldova and in the Ukrainian regions. For each river basin and region, some adaptation of the DSS is carried out
