Termite Control
Some people become concerned about termites only when they see a termite swarm in or around their home or business. Remember, swarming termites don't cause a problem; they indicate you have a problem. Swarming termites in a structure are physical evidence that termites have infested the foundation and/or walls. Although more visible in the spring and summer, termites are active even when they are not visible.
Your home should be inspected for termites because in the South termites cause millions of dollars in damage to homes each year.
The southern states — including Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Mississippi — are the most heavily infested termite areas in the United States. No foundation type is immune from termites. They can enter through hollow block walls in basements, within support piers in crawl spaces or through cracks or utility entry points in concrete slabs.
Cook's Termite Patrol offers termite protection through the Sentricon® Termite Colony Elimination System.
