Minimizing the gap between the stacked plates is crucial for successful stacking and drilling. This can be done by clamping or welding the plates together. A good common practice is to insert industrial paper (thickness of approx. 0.5-1 mm) between the plates to level out any irregularities and damp vibrations.

CoroDrill Delta-C^® and Coromant Delta^®

No feed reduction is normally needed. Note that type R850, which has a point angle configuration that is different from the other CoroDrill Delta-C drills, is not suitable for stack drilling.
