You could say that all bonsai are one of a kind, and indeed the term 'specimen' is used very loosely in the bonsai world. Here are some more mature trees, which have been in training for many years, and which we especially like. They were selected for their overall beauty and health, good trunk taper, branch ramification, elegant form, and any number of other qualities that can define outstanding bonsai.
