PURAKOTE, EXCELCOTE and WECOTOP Series are palm kernel oil based specialty products.

PURAKOTEs are non-tempering cocoa butter replacers (CBR) that are solid at room temperature and have a sharp melting curve similar to cocoa butter. As quality lauric hard butters, they are ideal for pastels, cocoa flavored compound coatings, confectionery centers, and filler fats. PURAKOTEs are available with different melt and solid fat profiles in order to maximize gloss, gloss retention and bloom resistance. PURAKOTEs are also available as non-hydrogenated and as low trans hydrogenated products.

EXCELKOTEs are also low trans hydrogenated lauric hard butters that are solid at room temperature and have steep melting at mouthing temperature. Their unique melting profile makes it possible to formulate products that require stand-up or firmness with rapid meltdown. They are widely used in the confectionery and baking industries as compound coating fat. EXCELKOTEs are ideal for use in confectionery coatings, pastels, drops, centers, icings, and vegetable dairy systems, for example whipped toppings, imitation sour cream, and coffee creamers.

WECOTOPs are partially hydrogenated to be solid at room temperature and have high stability. They are widely used in non-dairy applications such as coffee creamers, whipped toppings, dips, imitation sour cream, and similar types of products. As a coating fat in confectionery applications, WECOTOPs produce excellent compound coatings for pastries, baking drops, pastels, centers and filler fats.

COBEE Series are coconut oil based specialty products

COBEEs are available as non-hydrogenated (RBD coconut oil) and as hydrogenated products with different melt profiles. They are widely used in confectionery applications as a center fat, ice cream bar coating fat, frozen whipped toppings, coffee creamers, and roasting oil for nuts. It is also excellent as frying oil for tacos, tostadas, tempura, and similar types of applications. RBD coconut oil is the most widely used non-hydrogenated oil for popping popcorn at the theater and in production of pre-popped corn or pre-packaged popcorn/oil/seasoning packets.
