Solar panels on the top of the lantern absorb energy during the day to provide light at night. Two AA 1.2V 600 rechargeable batteries support the solar power, and a manual on/off switch allows for simple, selective use. This free-standing lantern requires no wiring, which means it can be placed anywhere in your garden or along a sidewalk. All aluminum parts of the lantern and hook are protected by a powder-coated finish in a beautiful weathered brown color.
