Description
The Model LS-229 is a low-gain, 3dbd gain omnidirectional base station antenna for UHF paging, two-way radio, telephone, and temporary site installation that operates across the 406 to 512 MHz frequency band. The Model LS-229 covers the UHF band in five frequency ranges as shown in the table below. The Model LS-229 antenna has been specifically designed to minimize the RF coupling to the tower and the feeding cable by using LSE's unique RF decoupling technique for the omnidirectional antenna. The radiator is made of brass and copper with solid contact joint design to minimize troublesome intermodulation problems. The radiators are housed in a structurally-proven fiberglass radome that can withstand 125 mph winds and that provides many years of maintenance-free operation.
