Description
This private residence was completed in May of 2012. With a zero lot line to one side and a 15' drop on the other side it provided many difficulties for mobilization and scaffolding the project. The designer called for an atypical wall cavity in lieu of the typical installation of wood studs. This residence was built with metal studs and DensGlass gold sheathing installed by BakerTriangle. BT then installed 1″ thick rigid insulation board over the sheathing. After the Quikrete scratch and brown coat was installed the entire project was coated with an acrylic base coat to allow for the .75 fine finish. The result is a beautiful modern residence in the heart of Dallas.
