Prenatal Massage

Prenatal Massage combines many techniques to relieve the discomforts of pregnancy while helping the mother stay connected to her constantly changing body. The session has a Swedish Massage foundation and may include other techniques such as Deep Tissue Massage or Myofascial Release. The deep relaxation that occurs with the nurturing touch of the therapist can help the mother deepen her bond with the unborn child and prepare her body for childbirth. During the last trimester the mother will be on her side with pillows to insure ease and comfort. Many pregnant women find massage an invaluable part of a healthy and happy pregnancy
