Premier Solvent-Free Foundation Coating

Premier foundation coating is an environmentally friendly, un-fibered alternative to solvent-based asphalt coatings. This asphalt emulsion foundation coating is designed for spray or brush application to existing or new, green, or damp concrete and masonry surfaces. Product designed for waterproofing exterior, below grade applications to foundations, both poured concrete and CMU block along with a protection course of extruded polystyrene insulation or drainage board prior to backfilling. Concrete surfaces must be scraped or wire brushed clean of loose concrete, dirt, or debris, then blown clean of loose particles. All holes, cracks, joints, penetrations, or potential leak paths need to be sealed with Henry model No. HE900204 construction and flashing sealant and allowed to cure. Sealing all penetrations, cold joints, or footings need to be completed and brought to watertight condition prior to applying foundation coating. Apply at rate of 25 sq. ft. per gallon. Coverage varies with roughness of concrete surface and may require a 2 coat application due to porosity of some CMU block. Soap and water clean-up of uncured coating. Keep from freezing.
