Description
Non-Rotating Sleeve-type stabilizers are designed for use in straight holes in
hard rock formations to provide "low torque stabilization" and to centralize drill
collars thereby reducing rotary torque. The sleeve functions like a bushing to
minimize damage to the drill string and hole wall. A steel reinforced rubber
element allows the string to rotate freely. It is lubricated by the drilling fluid.
