Microelectronic intellectual multi channel devices are designed for rapid analysis of scents and the determination of their concentrations, in particular in cabin aviation, space and other military equipment. The database of substances that can be detected is more than 500 items (explosive and poisonous substances, combustion products of various materials, lubricants, adhesives, alcohols, detergents, technical and perfumery substances, molds, narcotics)
Main characteristics, gist of development
The development is based on the use of dependence of reactive properties and negative resistance of semiconductor devices on the influence of external physical factors and the creation on this basis of a new class of microelectronic frequency converters of gas concentration and odor recognition. In devices of this type, the information about the concentration of gases and other external influences on the frequency signal is transformed. This makes it possible to create microelectronic converters according to the integral technology and increase the speed, accuracy and sensitivity, expand the range of measured values, improve reliability, noise immunity and long - term stability of parameters.
The device operates in real time. The range of measurements for different gas media is 2 ppb - 1500 ppm. Measurement error in the range 2 - 500 ppb is 2 ppb; in the range of 500 - 1500 ppb - 5 ppb; in the range of 1. 5 - 50 ppm - 0. 5 ppm; in the range of 50 - 1500 ppm - 5 ppm. Measurement of the concentrations of complex substances is displayed on the screen when determining the substance in the determination cycle, as well as separately on the sensors in on - line mode.
The device can be used in security systems in airports, railway stations, metro stations, aircraft engineering, space technology, chemical industry, mining, automobile transport, medicine, agriculture, for environmental monitoring.
