Outstanding Operating Convenience Convenience for the machine operator starts with the system of saw blade mounting: A magnetic retainer and self-centering saw blade clamp help to minimize set-up times and allow precisely symmetrical chamfering of the saw teeth. Clamping directly at the point of grinding compensates any existing lateral run out of the saw blade. An illuminated display confirms precise positioning of the saw blade for the operator. There is no need for time consuming centering processes using measuring optics or tracing with the grinding wheel. Only a few simple steps are required to set the machine using the clearly arranged operating elements. The kerf width for alternating chamfers operations and chamfering on both sides of the leader teeth is set using a scale. This data, as well as the number of teeth is transferred to the electronic control system. The subsequent operation sequence is then carried out automatically. |
Rapid operation sequence:
Possible pitch errors are unimportant due to the use of a pawl feed system. The working speed can be steplessly adjusted to a maximum of 45 teeth per minute. When one side of the saw blade has been chamfered, the grinding head swivels automatically to the other side, at the same time the sense of rotation of the grinding wheel changes. |
