Description
Loading turntables can be used at the beginning of a packaging line to speed up the presentation of bottles or other containers to the packaging system. The loading turntable uses a bottle guide superstructure to move bottles from the turntable onto the power conveyor for delivery to the container cleaning machines, liquid fillers, capping machines and other packaging equipment. These turntables vary in size to handle bottles and containers both large and small.
Accumulating turntables are most often used at the end of a packaging line to gather finished product for packing and shipping. However, less than fully automatic packaging lines may use an accumulating turntable at any stage of the packaging process. For example, a loading turntable may gather product after they have been filled for hand capping of the bottle or container.
