Color palette/special texture: The palette is one of an understated, yet rugged appearance; familiar to venerable leathers from 80 to 100 years ago. The hand wipe off is performed by skilled craftsmen after the furniture is upholstered, thus creating the appearance of evolutionary wear patterns; seat tops, in backs and arm tops, for example. The wiping process reveals the underlying color, and when contrasted with the top color, the combination of the two forms a tone on tone façade. The overall effect is that of an inlaid leather finish.

Techno facts: Quality hides are selected and processed using the industry's most advanced tanning and finishingtechnologies. Brindisi hides are chosen for their individual characteristics, including naturally occurring range markings; healed scars, brands, neck and fat wrinkles, etc. The hides are slightly corrected before a foundation color is applied on top of the aniline dyedcrust. Then a specially formulated top coat is applied to the surface. This top coatis then somewhat wiped off, by the furniture maker, after the seating piece is upholstered, creating one-of-a-kind looks every time. The finish is self sealing and will resist every day stains and spills.
