Pruning - Your front landscaping may require four prunings for optimal growth and appearance, depending on the type of plant material you have. We prune for plant health, vigor, maximum flower development and desirable size of the plant.

Re-mulching - The natural mulch used in your back, side and front landscaping will need top dressing as it breaks down. Re-mulching will improve the appearance of the landscape, provide needed protection for the roots of the plant material, retain moisture and limit weed growth. Certain natural mulches will repel some insects.

Fertilizing - Established plantings may require fertilizing at certain times of the year for optimum growth and flowering, as does sod. Service from Barkman will give your trees and shrubs "deep root feeding" through a qualified and licensed tree service when necessary.

Winterizing - Your landscape will benefit by preparing the plantings for the upcoming winter. A qualified irrigation contractor knows that some plants require deep watering just before freeze-up, while others will need protection by burlap or anti-desiccant sprays. Winter protection is important to prevent unsightly damage caused by the drying winter winds. An irrigation contractor can also winterize your outdoor watering system.
