The technology is intended for mechanopulse processing of hardware, is based on use of pulse energy of high - speed friction, allows to strengthen a surface of a product and to increase a resource of operation of details of cars to 5 times.

• Main technical characteristics (features)

In a zone of frictional contact of the processed detail and the special strengthening tool there takes place intensive heating of near - surface layers of a detail with simultaneous plastic deformation and fast cooling. Such conditions allow to sate near - surface layers with various alloying elements.

- Thickness of the strengthened layer reaches 100. . . 800 microns,

- Microhardness 8. . . 14 GPA

- A roughness of the strengthened Ra surface = 0, 4. . . 1, 6 microns.
