Glass Gear Skeleton Clock

Here is a very special skeleton clock with a great wheel design, but you will note that six of the gears do not have the normal 'spokes' in the inner portion of the gear, connecting it to the shafts. Instead, it has nicely etched plexiglass inserts, which make a very special view of the gears. It looks like they are just 'hanging' in the air. Look closely at the pics of it. It is most unusual. Also, note the beautifully designed marquetry style base for the clock. It is a chain fusee driven clock with the chain hidden in the base of the clock. It stands 25 ¼ inches high overall with a brass and glass frame to protect it from the elements. It has a 4 ¾ inch white porcelain dial with roman numerals. Even the pendulum has an etched gear insert-- what an amazing affect. And of course, we have capped it all off with 24K Gold Plating.
