Fraser Island Tour

In 1992, Fraser Island off central Queensland was listed as World Heritage site for its remarkable sand dune system. Stretching 123kms long, it is the largest sand island in the world, which has been developing over 800,000 years. Only accessible by 4WD vehicle, what you'll find here are white sandy beaches, freshwater lakes, as many as 100 of them and an abundance of bird species, flora and dingoes. It's also the only rainforest in the world that grows out of sand, with some trees growing up to 200 metres tall. During Spring and Summer, wildflowers bloom against a backdrop of lush vegetation in this eco tourism paradise.
