The Farmhouse™ design is compact and lightweight for easy transport, setup and take down. Only minimal assembly is required. 2 screened doors and 12 screened vent openings allow for optimum air circulation. With the vents open, outside air circulates throughout the Farmhouse to prepare plants for planting in outdoor conditions. With the vents closed, the 100% waterproof Gro-Tec material will promote and maintain high humidity levels desirable for a superior growing environment. The Gro-Tec material is UV resistant with rip stop protection for longer life of your greenhouse.
The Gro-Tec material is more beneficial for plant growth than clear glass or plastic because it diffuses or scatters light. Diffused light can benefit plants, both by reducing excess light on upper leaves and by increasing the amount of light reflected onto lower leaves. Too much direct sunlight on the upper leaves can overheat the plant and thus reduce photosynthesis.
The Farmhouse features a unique, zip-together design. You can zip one Farmhouse™ to another infinitely. The outer walls form partitions between the Farmhouses so you can create diverse growing environments to suit your needs.
