ELECTRIC ARC METALLIZATION PLANT VMZ®UEM® - 500 - TL / TN

To implement the method of anticorrosive protection with the application of zinc or aluminum coatings by the method of electric arc metallization, we have developed and manufactured an installation "UEM - 500 - TL".
The principle of operation of the installation is based on the supply of two electrically conductive wires, melted in an electric arc and sprayed by the supplied compressed air. The applied coating is formed due to the impact of molten particles and the hardening of the formed plates on the protected product.
When carrying out work on anti - corrosion protection of surfaces to ensure the smooth operation of the equipment, wire made of aluminum and its alloys (Ø1.2 - 1.6mm - no more) should be used in accordance with GOST 7871; GOST 11069; GOST 14838; GOST 6132 or zinc (Ø1.6 - 2.0 - no more) in accordance with GOST 13073.
The spraying wire must be smooth, clean, free of visible traces of corrosion, sharp bends, burrs and delamination
Dents, kinks and burrs are allowed, the values of which do not interfere with the passage of the wire through the guide tube of the apparatus and do not affect the stability of the arc formation.
Attention! Failure to comply with this condition leads to rapid contamination and excessive wear of the guides, cables and current - carrying lugs, which leads to the interruption of the wire feed.
Since the structure of the coating is porous, additional impregnation with paint and varnish material is required in most cases for its durability. The installation allows you to apply anti - corrosion, restoration, hardening, wear - resistant and other coatings. The coatings are 80 - 200 microns thick. If necessary, the thickness of the applied coating can be increased.
The work can be carried out both in the conditions of the construction site and in specially equipped chambers (boxes).
Climatic modification of the unit "U3.1", according to GOST 15150 and GOST 15543, but for operation at ambient temperatures from 263 ° K ( - 10 ° C) to 313 ° K ( + 40 ° C).
