Education & Training

A key component of the successful implementation, operation, and maintenance of application solutions is Education & Training of personnel. ARGO provides two key tracks of Education & Training services designed to ensure that the customer obtains the maximum utilization and benefit from the line-of-business (LOB) solutions. A technical training track educates information technology (IT) personnel including system administrators, technical support personnel, developers, and database administrators. ARGO designs the LOB track to educate and prepare business analysts, subject matter experts, business line representatives, and training personnel for the requirements and design phase of the implementation, and ultimately to integrate ARGO solution information into an end-user training strategy for the rollout of the solution.

Technical Training

For IT staff, ARGO delivers professional instruction on its solutions, in addition to offering professional certifications. ARGO's technical training program maximizes investment by equipping employees with the information they need to efficiently and effectively perform their jobs. We offer a wide range of classroom training and services that combine industry and technical expertise with hands-on education. ARGO organizes its technical training into tracks based on job function, including training for:

• Application Architectsresponsible for technical operating environments and familiarizing personnel with the architecture tiers, standards including security, and how the application solutions integrate with host and third-party components.

• Application Developersto become proficient in modifications and minor updates to maintain the solution over time. For major releases and compliance related maintenance, ARGO provides trained personnel through its Application Outsourcing service.

• Installation and OperationsPersonnel responsible for the installation, configuration, and operations of the solution into the production environment. Training also teaches operations staff how to engage ARGO Help Desk Support services, and how ARGO's Early Detention Monitoring service will support their role by proactively monitoring the ARGO application solutions to predict and reduce potential outages.

In addition to hands-on exercises and paper-based training materials, ARGO has a certification program designed to validate and ensure understanding of the topics in the coursework and the readiness of personnel to perform their tasks. To achieve an ARGO certification, personnel must successfully complete all of the courses in the track associated with the desired ARGO certification, and pass comprehensive hands-on examination.
