Dry Ice Blasting - Power Generation Equipment
Dry ice is made from carbon dioxide, a naturally occurring gas and does not contain moisture. Being a dry process, it eliminates the time consuming process of erecting drying ovens and monitoring conditions during drying. With dry ice, as soon as the cleaning is finished, the motor can be reassembled and placed back into production.
Carbon, grease and dirt contribute to low meg readings as well as catastrophic equipment failure. Dry ice cleaning removes these contaminants improving readings and restores machine efficiency.
When this process is used by our trained operators, the readings are higher and equipment clean without any damage to windings, lamination or connectors as the process is not abrasive and is infinitely adjustable. The clean up also involves the disposal of the contaminants that have been removed.
