Dining at The Ford Plantation
Drawing on this talent and inspired by the regional cuisine of Coastal Georgia, Ford chefs produce a consistently superb dining experience—from the local catch-of-the-day to Southern home-style cooking. Low Country heritage is celebrated with an abundance of fresh seafood.
For every bow to tradition, there is a subtle enhancement—iced tea infused with the essence of Georgia peaches; a plate of cookies fresh from the oven served with a miniature milkshake—simplicity elevated to perfection. The signature restaurant is located on the upper level of The Ford Plantation Clubhouse with floor-to-ceiling windows and a wide veranda overlooking the golf course, salt marsh, and wildlife sanctuary.
A delightful breakfast is served at The Main House with friendly Southern hospitality. Casual open-air dining is offered at the Lake Dye Grill throughout the summer. During special events, such as the annual Homecoming, the vintage Oyster House is the site for traditional Low Country oyster roasts and barbecues.
