Device for preparing the book spine to the seamless adhesive fastening PP198

The device is intended for acquisition of equipment for non - interconnecting of blocks, which is widely used in printing houses and is intended for the issue of books in the soft - cover and hard - cover, magazines and other printing products.

The effectiveness of the device is to provide cross - shaped arched grooves of the required depth on the root of the book block. The device consists of carriages, in which the book blocks, a fixed gear, clutch, satellite gear wheels, to which axes are fixed disk tools. Simple regulation provides the formation of the desired relief on the root of the book block in various types of equipment (from the small format to the machine "Trendbinder" with technical parameters: the length of the book block - up to 480 mm, its thickness is 3 - 80 mm).

We received 2 patents of Ukraine for the invention.

Such devices for the preparation of the root of the book block can be retrofitted production equipment of various types, created for non - interlocking blocks.

An experimental stand was made, a complex of studies on the processing of book blocks made from paper of different types was worked out. Programmed relief has been obtained in a wide range of variants.
