Cyclone Separators / Dust Collectors

Uses. Cyclone dust collectors provide high-efficiency, heavy-duty performance for heavy dust loading operations. Cyclone separators efficiently remove medium to coarse particles from the air stream, and may be used as the primary collector for a wide range of materials, including coarse particles or chips of wood, metal, plastics, composites, and paper. Cyclones may also act as a pre-filter for our high-efficiency dust collectors by separating out the larger particles for a more efficient filtration of the finer dust.

Features. The Cyclotron Series provides a complete range of cyclones for a broad spectrum of industrial processes, from 1 to 40 HP, from 750 to 13000 CFM. The cyclone is constructed with a long-tapered cone and a large internal helix, creating the high-velocity centrifugal action needed to efficiently remove particles and chips. Our cyclone separators offer low maintenance, efficient, quiet operation with direct-drive, backward-inclined airfoil type blowers on the clean side of the collector.

Typical Processes. Our cyclone separators / dust collectors may be used for industrial operations such as woodworking, machining, scrap metal processing, product recovery, dry chemical processing, and high-temperature processes.

Options. All our cyclone separators may be equipped with optional safety after-filters for added efficiency, to remove even sub-micron sized particles. Options also include radial blower wheels, explosion vents, drop-out bins, sprinkler heads, and a rotary valve.
