CSS Series Corrugated Sleeve and Shrink System

Polypack's CSS Series corrugated belt and shrink wrap systems are designed to offer up to 50% savings on corrugate consumption when compared to traditional RSC cases.

Unlike traditional 6-panel RSC cases that are folded and glued, corrugated belts use a completely flat die-cut blank consisting of only 4 panels. The first folds are executed as the product and blank is pushed into the bucket conveyor. The side tab is then folded in and glued against the back side of the case and the pack is enclose with sleeve/bullseye shrink wrap to enclose the pack. This process eliminates the need for expensive pre-folded and glued RSC cases.

With corrugated sleeve packaging, a sheet of cardboard is die-cut and folded. For a case, the flaps, overlapping each other, are located at the bottom and at the top, as the case is generally filled from the top. Corrugated Sleeve and Shrink packaging equipment reduces the amount of corrugate overlaps down to a single one, and combined with shrink wrap, it provides a strong case that delivery superb palletizing and distribution integrity.
