Cosmo-Therapy

This specialized treatment stimulates all 5 senses in a one-hour session to promote your body's abilities to help heal itself. We use Color therapy, Herbal Essence therapy, Pure Tone therapy, Precious stone therapy and Herbal teas. Cosmo-Therapy is taught by Dr. Dietrich Gumbel from Gunsbach, France. Cosmo-Therapy is based on the stimulation of all sense organs by using Essences, Color, Precious Stones and Tones. This treatment offers the ability to harmonize the whole being.
WHAT IS A TYPICAL SESSION LIKE?

We begin each session by having the client pick a color from a special color chart. The same person will usually pick a different color each time a session is conducted. The color selected will correspond to a different oil, precious stone, and tea.

Before the session actually begins, the client will drink a cup of herbal tea that corresponds to the color chosen. The client is then asked to lie down and relax. He/she is draped with a sheet of the color that has been chosen from the special chart. Next, the same color light will shine in the client's direction and the precious stone corresponding to the color picked is held in their hand. The oil corresponding to the color chosen will be used so that the room is filled with this essence. Finally, the pure tone therapy begins and emits a loud resonating vibration that can be felt throughout the entire body. You will literally feel the vibration coming from the crystal bowl in the area(s) your body most needs it.

Through the pure crystal tones, as the sound affects brain activity, one can travel into an altered state of consciousness. As different parts of the brain are affected, it is probable that they release different hormones and neuro-chemicals that can suppress pain, strengthen willpower, and overcome addictions. These pure tones instill a sense of deep relaxation. Crystal bowl music is a form of vibration medicine which validates that everything in the universe is in a state of vibration and the frequency at which an object or person most naturally vibrates is called resonance.

The client thereby treats himself rather than being manipulated by the therapist. When the tone therapy finally ends, the client will be given ample time to get up from the treatment table, comment on his/her session and drink another cup of the corresponding tea. The results can be quite amazing!
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREAMENT?

When we have negative thoughts, pessimistic ideas and bad feelings they can create a strained atmosphere and ill feeling, which often find expression in mental depressions and clinical diseases. We are out of tune, like a badly played instrument. If we are well tuned, we are in good shape, balanced, and active. Cosmo-Therapy opens the door for a certain "self-tuning" and provides an opportunity to become in tune with ourselves.
