Compost Accelerator/Dethatcher(CA)

Compost Accelerator (CA) is a granular blend of product consisting of naturally occurring, scientifically selected (but not genetically manipulated) microbes, enzymes and nutrients designed to accelerate the composting and dethatching process. CA is a unique combination of mesophilic microbes, molds and yeasts, and ten selected microbial cultures, which all occur naturally in soil and compost but in smaller numbers. CA is non-toxic, non-caustic, non-acidic, non-pathogenic (harmless to humans, pets & wildlife) and is biodegradable. CA accelerates the composting of most domestic organic solid waste material including household yard and garden wastes. CA is equally effective on large scale composting operations such as windrows or in small backyard efforts.

Application Rates

Suggested application rate is as follows:

Composting: Heap: 5 lbs (2.27 kg) per ton (907 kg) of material before forming windrows. Tilling: 2 lbs (0.91 kg) per ton (907 kg) whenever windrow is tilled. Bio-Green CA will achieve 50% reduction of compost within 2-3 weeks of application.

Dethatching: 1st application: 5 lbs per acre (5.6 kg per hectare). Maintenance: 2 lbs per acre (2.25 kg per hectare).

Applicable Uses: Use to accelerate reduction of material in all composting operations. Use to dethatch lawns, gardens, fields, golf courses and any vegetative area.

For best results provide proper aeration of waste lagoon or holding tank.
