Commercial and Business Litigation
The scope of our commercial litigation practice touches a wide array of industries and business practices. Our attorneys have extensive experience representing Fortune 500 companies and smaller companies in matters involving business torts, class actions, antitrust, contract disputes, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, construction and real estate litigation, corporate internal investigations, non-competition issues, health and Uniform Commercial Code issues. Likewise, our attorneys have represented governmental entities in disputes involving the False Claim Act, civil rights and contract claims.
We have extensive experience in real estate litigation. For example, we represented the North Texas Tollway Authority in condemnation proceedings for the Eastern Extension of the George Bush Turnpike. We have defended two large non-profit institutions in major construction and contract litigation matters. We have defended a real estate company in lawsuits alleging fraud, misrepresentation and deceptive trade practices.
Our litigation team partners with clients to identify workable strategies, realistic goals, and cost effective case management. Whether large, complex litigation or smaller disputes, we utilize technology that streamlines case development and research, and keeps the client informed at all times.
