Circulator, Rio

A powerful circulator used in large water bodies to improve water quality, destratify and distribute air or injected pure oxygen. It can also be combined with the Force 7 aerator

The Rio circulator is a powerful unit with propellers of 29 in. (740mm.) and 37 in. (930mm.) diameter, rotating at 123 rpm and 115 rpm respectively and powered by 1 or 2 hp. The Rio unit provides excellent water movement and de-stratification. It can be used effectively to resolve many problems of water movement in aquaculture, reservoirs, public parks and lakes, and algae control. It is particularly good in controlling the formation of ice in lakes and other large bodies of water. The Rio unit can be coupled with the air injector Force 7 to create the Combo unit (aeration and circulation). The Rio 1 hp can circulate 528,000 gallons per hour (2000 cubic meters/hour) of water and 2 hp can circulate 792,000 gallons per hour (3000 cubic meters/hour) of water. The Rio is available in a variety of voltages to guarantee compatibility with a large scope of systems.
