Centerless Grinding Services

Ashley Ward offers centerless grinding services for screw components such as input shafts, pump shafts, pins, and bushings. We can grind parts with diameters up to 3.5" in both profile and through-feed centerless grinders. Our grinding equipment can handle parts machined from different grades of hot rolled and cold rolled steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, as well as aluminum.

Precision ground parts can be produced with surface finishes above 1 RA. Our profile grinding process is best suited for finishing multiple dimensions at the same time. While our profile grinders can handle profile and centerless grinding of parts up to 20" long, our centerless grinding machines can handle bar lengths up to 14' in length. Tight tolerances of up to 0.0001" can be maintained in our grinding operations.

We work with a wide range of abrasive materials such as aluminum oxide, cubic boron nitride, and silicon carbide. Continuous efforts take place to increase efficiency in every aspect of our machining and finishing operation.
