Building Information Modeling

Keystone Associates is committed to the ever expansion of technology by investing in Building Information Modeling (BIM) for our projects.

Keystone Associates was one of the first design firms in the Binghamton area to fully integrate BIM into our project designs. BIM creates a 3-D building model which facilitates the design process through the use of digital renderings, movies and walk-through animations.

The use of BIM technology enables our designers to optimize functionality and operational efficiency while avoiding conflits with the hidden components of the building's infrastructure. This allows for better coordination between trades (i.e. structural, mechanical ductwork, lighting, etc.)
