DAY 1
Early morning departure. Upon arrival in Salem, you will be welcomed by a local
guide, followed by an included luncheon at Finz Restaurant on Pickering Wharf.
After lunch, take an overview tour of Salem, including the witchcraft hysteria of
1692, the maritime history, and the beautiful sea captain homes on Chestnut Street.
Visit the Old Burying Point Cemetery, and the Witch Trials Memorial. Check into
your hotel located right in the heart of downtown Salem, close to attractions and restaurants. Dinner on your own at one of the many restaurants within walking
distance of your hotel. Explore the pretty waterfront prior to dinner if you choose.
Depart hotel for Boston. Tickets included to the world famous Boston Pops.
DAY 2 Continental Breakfast is included at your hotel, or breakfast on your own. Visit the Peabody Essex Museum for a guided gallery tour with an included admission to the Yin Yu Tang, a Chinese House, at the museum. Free time to explore more of the museum on your own and get lunch on your own. This afternoon visit the House of the Seven Gables. One of Salem's most famous residents was Nathaniel Hawthorne who penned the novel The House of the Seven Gables. More free time in Salem. Depart hotel for Gloucester. This evening is an included Lobster Bake in the rough at the Gloucester House.
DAY 3 Continental Breakfast is included at your hotel, or breakfast on your own. Check out and depart hotel for Boston. Meet your local guide in Boston for a visit to the Old North Church, the North End, Beacon Hill and the Public Garden and Common. Then say goodbye to Boston aboard the Spirit of Boston for a luncheon cruise. Afternoon departure for home.
