Description
The Alden Appledore 16 is our sliding seat version of the traditional Maine Peapod design thought to have originated in the Penobscot Bay region and used for fishing as early as the 1860's.
It has plenty of extra room for passengers or gear and can be set up for single or double rowing. The design is flat bottomed, with a flared bow and narrower stern. Its slender beam allows you to enjoy a smooth, fast ride in the Appledore Pod 16 in smooth or rough open water conditions.
