Blend California White Kote

California White Kote is a sanded-Keenes Cement and Lime mix used for new construction and renovation. California White Kote may be applied in either a sand float or smooth style finish. The blend is designed to provide high strength finishes over gypsum basecoat plasters.

Substrates:
Gypsum basecoat plasters, California One Kote or California Kwik Patch.

Coverage:
Approximately 250 Sq. Feet / 23 Sq. Meters per bag.

Mixing:
California White Kote can be mixed in a standard paddle type mechanical mixer or in 5-gallon pails. California White Kote is mixed with approximately 4 gallons of clean-potable water. Mixing time is three to four minutes per batch.

Application:
Before application of California White Kote the gypsum basecoat must be pre-wet to reduce the effects of suction on the workability of the finish. Apply California White Kote over pre-wet gypsum basecoat by scratching on the first coat and doubling back for a second coat when the first coat has firmed enough to accept the pressure of the trowel.

Drying / Curing:
Gypsum plasters requires stable temperatures and ventilation during application and during the period of time required for the plaster to dry. The required temperature range for the application and drying of gypsum plaster shall be 55°F - 70°F / 12°C - 21°C

Storage:
California White Kote shall be kept indoors or if stored outdoors, must be adequately covered to keep dry and be stored off the ground.

Manufacturers or Western Blended Products (WBP) warrants its products to be of merchantable quality and suitable for the general purpose for which they were intended, when applied in accordance with WBP instructions. Manufacturers of WBP do not warrant its products to be suitable for any purpose or use other than for which they were intended. Liability under this warranty is limited to supplying new material without charge, or at manufacturers of WBP option, to a refund of the purchase price. In the event of a claim under this warranty, written notice must be given to the originating plant of the WBP goods at the address shown hereon. This limited warranty is issued and accepted in lieu of all other expressed warranties, and expressly excludes liability for consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
