About Dyed Mulches

Black Dyed mulch is manufactured using recycled wood fibers and has the same consistancy as our Premium Hardwood mulch. We then generously dye the mulch with a non toxic coloring agent. Black Dyed mulch stays darker longer and breaks down more slowley than other mulches. The primary benefits of dyed mulches are for decorative use, retarding weed growth, water retention and insulating the soil. Dyed mulches don't offer any nutritional value to the soil.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Check your local forecast before using dyed products. If not curred for 24-48 hours in your landscape, heavy rains may wash colorant.

Dyed products can stain your drive. To expidite clean-up for you, place a tarp on drive and have us dump there. A little elbow grease and a power washer will remove any stains.
