The development concerns the aquaculture sector. Also, it can be used in ichthyological researches and fish farming in the transfer of sturgeon fish to the hypometabolic state. To achieve the reduction of stress, prevention of damage during sorting, transportation, as well as carrying out manipulations.
Key characteristic, the essence of the development
The method is to saturate the water in which it is located fish, gas mixture СО2 and О 2(in the ratio1: 1) under pressure of 102. 6 kPa at water temperature15 - 18 С, and the supply of the gas mixture is stopped in the case when the fish falls to the bottom and stops moving.
In such a state of fish you can withstand 1 - 2 hours, and after the individuals transferring into clean water of the physiological functions are restored within 5 - 8 minutes.
