Amethyst Myst

Among the finest of woodland plants, this hybrid does well in the South where it is evergreen and withstands humid heat well with a little shade. Its new leaves are a stunning bright, glossy reddish purple and will change with age to reveal a frosted silver surface with a green background. Depending on the time of year, Amethyst Myst can be fiery purple gem or a cool frosted green all the while the underside of the leaves are a wine purple. In the north, light shade to full sun is better.
