In addition, by using only FSC-Certified wood, we are working to maintain the long-term well-being of the forests where Ipé comes from, and the people who depend on them.

The rich chocolate-brown color of Ipé is completely natural. We apply no colored stains to the wood. Prior to the finishing process, we run the wood through a variable direction sander that gets the wood's surface incredibly smooth. Lastly, we apply a light protective coating to shield the wood from the sun's harmful UV rays.
