AGlu416 contains a mutation in a basic motif that is an important determinant for the interaction of the A subunit and the catalytic subunit of PP2A (GLO130-GLO132, protein phosphatases). The AGlu416 preparations can be used as control in reconstitution studies and for further delineating the functional significance of the basic motif. Source recombinant human protein. Purity > 90% by SDS-PAGE. Apparent Mr ~ 65-kDa. Supplied 50 ml in 50 mM Tis-HCl, pH 7.0 buffer containing 0.1 mM phenylmethanesulfonyl fluoride, 14 mM b-mercaptoethanol, 1 mM EDTA and 50% glycerol. Maintain in aliquots at -70°C. Avoid repeated thawing.
