Description
It's simple, really.... Swap the factor's highly-restrictive headers with integrated cats for free flowing performance header and watch the performance numbers climb. To see what we mean, just take a closer look at the factory manifolds: - The exhaust catalysts are situated right against the cylinder head, causing extreme heat build up. - Cylinders 1-3 and 4-6 each channel through to a single restrictive pipe - These characteristics create extreme heat thanks to an inherently bottleneck design Active Autowerke's Performance E46 325/330 Header system is designed to eliminate this problem without compromising durability. Constructed from 100% Polished 304 stainless steel, when installing this header the factory exhaust catalysts are removed in the process, making this solution recommended for off-road race applications.
