We depart from Boston at 7:00 am, en route to Washington DC. In the capital city, our tour will include sights such as the U.S. Capitol Building, where the United States Congress meets to enact legislation; the White House, principal home and workplace of every U.S. President since John Adams; the Jefferson Memorial, iconic in its circle of pillars and lifelike sculpture of Thomas Jefferson, the author of the Declaration of Independence; finishing our day in the city at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum* before transferring to our nearby hotel for a night's rest.
